Hypothese Hotel [Hypothesis Hotel] is a visual essay written for Dutch-language cultural journal Rekto:verso. It transcribes, describes and analyzes a three-minute fragment aired on the Belgian TV-show De Luchtpolitie [The Air Police].

The fragment shows a search, lead by drones, for migrants. The events take place on a highway park site.
